It seems that floral tributes are the norm for anniversaries, even of chemists and lighting supply shops. I can only surmise these have been offered by customers or suppliers to the establishment to celebrate. Eczane is Turkish for chemist:
As they lean up against the shop front, I wonder if the form is derived from processionals? The handy long supporting pole would be useful for that.
Elaborate and festive, they are so colourful and gorgeous! People spill out onto the street when the celebration takes place.
